I'm talking about if it doesn't go well and you end up not being able to urinate while standing, so you have to keep your vagina. Sorry if I'm not making any sense.

In most cases the vagina is removed when forming the new urethra, or mostly removed.  If you couldn't stand to pee, you could sit or use an STP.

One of the primary reasons (other than wanting a dick I could pee through) was to get rid of the vagina.  Eewww.

One of these could help:  http://www.mangoproducts.net/MetoidioplastyProsthesis.htm

It's an STP made for guys who have had a meta with urethral lengthening, but who do not have enough length, do not have a predictable stream, or otherwise have trouble using a urinal.

I'm sure one could also put together something home-made to serve the same purpose.
