Did I have a "wet dream" or something simular?

I had a dream about a few days ago about this woman that I have a deep crush on. Funny thing is that shes a voice actress of a popular Japanese anime show. I don't want to disclosed her real name so I'll address her as "Jane".

I'm not some demented stalker that stalks celebrities, I'm just not that crazy to do it, and I have more respect for the people that I'm a fan of.

I was never into Asians. I don't know why. They didn't compute in my taste buds at the time. I started watching this Japanese show about 2 years ago and it seems like I became obsessed with the story. This one particular character's voice was amazing. Even know I don't understand Japanese that much, the voice intrigued me a lot. I did research on Jane and to my astonishment the woman behind the character was absolutely beautiful! Drop dead gorgeous. I search up Jane on Twitter and manage to find her so I added her to my following list (Not to stalk). Occasionally she sends out photos of herself. I could be having such a crappy day,but when I see the photo that she sends out it seems like the crappy day that I have vanished. The photo brings out a smile to my face (which I rarely do).

Anyhow I had a dream about Jane not that long ago. It wasn't sexual..well not hardcore. I was in panic mode (in my dreams) because the dream felt so real. I actually met her face to face in my dreams. I presented myself to her with my male name. We began to talk. She took an interests in me and we started going out on dates. The rest of the dream seems blurry as time goes on, but when I woke up I never felt so happy before. I was a little horny but nothing too serious.

Is this what the BIO guys have when they have a wet dream?

Also, not all wet dreams happen because of a sex dream (and often the dreams can't even be remembered anyway).

I guess the key thing that makes a wet dream wet is of course that you ejaculate during it. You can totally have a sexual dream without it happening (but then it wouldn't be a wet dream).

My understanding of  "wet dream" means coming to orgasm in one's sleep. (With a guy that would naturally include an ejaculation, thus waking up wet, thus the expression.)

I've had them, they are fun! (with or without waking up wet!)

It happens to me, I'll dream that I had sex or got sucked off by a girl and wake up needing clean boxers. Kinda fun but really annoying. (Nope I'm not on T and this has been the case since I was 13 or so)

I have more respect for the people that I'm a fan of.

Until you meet them in real life.  I was working with a pretty new kid a few weeks ago who remarked that it was going to be awesome as this band was his favorite band ever.  I looked at him and said "Well, today ought to change all that."

My 'favorites' have been (in order):
- Miss Sensitive singer-songwriter screaming the most vile filth (even for us) at her 'girl' for not having the right wardrobe picked out.
- Mister AntiChrist Superstar wanting to use an oven so he could bake brownies for his GF.
- A band celebrated for its 'common, working man' image having a ->-bleeped-<--fit over not having enough water from Fiji and Finland brought in for them.  (there were several cases of each, the stuff from Finland costing $7 a bottle alone)
- Any, and every, metal band that has some huge array of Marshall stacks on stage, all but one of which are dummies.  Special props to the guy whose Marshall stack was all dummies, the guitar was actually plugged into a Fender Deluxe behind all those dummy cabinets.  (ProTip: the only amps that are on are the ones with mikes in front of them.)

If you want to remain a fan, the best way is to make sure you never, ever meet the people you like.

First, I'm going to say that as a MtF, I'm extremely glad that I haven't had any of these types of rude awakenings since starting HRT.

Nothing sucked more than being woken up at 2am to the sensation of an orgasm and find yourself laying in a mess that you have to clean up. 

Wet dreams are dreams that end with an orgasm and from my experience, usually have sexual content in them.    They are a very nice relaxing release, but from my point of view, very messy.

I've had dreams where I was in some sort of an activity and somehow became conscious of the buildup and it's woken me up.  That feeling can be very "Warm and Fuzzy" too.

I agree.  I am also glad I stopped having those ever since I became less male.  I used to have wet dreams very frequently.  Usually it involved dreaming of something sexual, often with an orgasm in the dream.  Directly after orgasm, I would wake up and find that I had a sticky pool in my underwear.

98% of the time wet dreams involved sex.  The rest of the time I wouldn't remember the dream, I would just wake up with ejaculate in my underwear.

I'm glad I found this thread.  Sometimes it seems like my life is a nightmare, seeing as how I am way too male.  But reading threads like this reminds me that a nightmare is better than Hell Incarnate (what my life was a couple of years ago)
