does handwriting and the way you draw change with HRT?
I'm just wondering, since i'd love to be able to draw and write with softer lines, instead of digging deep trenches into the paper. I mean, less testosterone, more calmness, just sounds like it'd stop my hand from pressing too much on the paper and help with drawing less agressive lines

aw, that's a shame! oh well i just have to continue trying to draw in new ways and see if anything sticks

Probably completely pointless and unrelated, mainly due to the fact it's not about my handwriting, but more about how I actually write. There has been a very subtle shift in how I describe scenes and write dialogue and I've also found that the interactions between characters are becoming increasingly more important rather than the characters interaction with events. It could mean nothing, it could mean everything, but a small, unconscious has occured in how I construct stories. Ask Jenny, she's read the novel.


Also handwriting is believed to be a reflection of a persons character, it's more than likely that as you go through transition and become more open about yourself that your handwriting could become more expressive and open rather than closed...but that only really works if you believe that handwriting is a wiondow to your inner soul.

Graphology is, for the most part, a pseudoscience.  All proper studies have failed to demonstrate a correlation between handwriting markers and personality.

That said, I can definitely see how one's handwriting might change on HRT, but I haven't seen any studies investigating these possibilities.  It's possible that changes in muscle strength and the like would influence handwriting but yeah, as stated above, it's been rather conclusively refuted that it would reflect changes in personality.

@Helena I have heard that as well about hand writing. I believe that you handwriting will change throughout your whole life even if it very slight.

For me since starting HRT vie gotten back into drawing.
