whistling with two fingers in my mouth, is something that sadly I have never been able to do .. and often ended up biting my own fingers while trying it...  :icon_redface:
LOL... When I bit my fingers is when I gave up on it... Decided that was enough of that stuff
The main things to remember in life are Love, Kindness, Understanding and Respect - Always make forward progress

Superficial fanny kissing friends are a dime a dozen, a TRUE FRIEND however is PRICELESS

I can't honestly say I have ever known a woman who whistled tunes but growing up I had an aunt that could do the two-fingered whistle and be heard over a mile - great way to call the kids in from the fields.

I've not encountered many, if any, women who whistle in public, which recently peaked my curiosity.  Girls, do any of you whistle or know any girls who do?  What are your thoughts on this somewhat insignificant matter?

----warning:  snarky comment below---

(PS:  For those keeping count, this is another post not related to sex)

I'm an androgyne, but I present typically female as that's what I look like and I generally whistle when walking from my apt to my car or car to apt.

My mother and sister have whistled my whole life. My sister doesn't do it often but my mom usually is always whistling while cleaning

Yesterday my Sis and I were decorating our Christmas tree, when the radio played a song we both like. We started to whistle the tune at the same time :)

Merry Christmas,

Lots of country women here can whistle loudly with 2 fingers in the mouth to call the dogs/cows/horses/chooks etc, but I have never been able to.

At the risk of sounding like Mr. Vincent Nigel Murray (Bones reference), there is an old proverb that goes, "A whistling woman and a crowing hen, Are neither good for God nor men".  It was long considered unlucky for women to whistle, and apparently still is in some cultures.

Hmm my mom can whistle like a pro but my sister can't, she tries though. I love whistling and don't think I'd give it up, especially to a jaunty tune!
