I've been reading up intersex conditions recently just to broaden my knowledge and I read something quite strange.

http://www.isna.org/faq/conditions/know

It supposedly claims that surgeons can't create normal looking genitals. I, through a lot of research over a time, came to the understanding that SRS can be pretty much close to the real thing. FTMs probably have it slightly difficult, but as far as MTFs are concerned it probably does a good job. Is there any truth to the claim on that website?  :-\

From my experience, I think Dr Brassard did a fantastic job.  Mind you, I'm only three months along, but everything is falling into place quite nicely--swelling aside.  It takes up to one year for healing to be complete and I think that by that time, things should look pretty normal to me.  If I can sit and stare at it in amazement now, I think I'll be in awe come one year.

They're talking about childhood surgeries on IS children, not surgeries on non-IS adults (i.e. trans women).
A phenotypical adult MTF who has surgery has all the right 'bits' for a really successful surgery that creates 'normal' genitals.
