I loved Flipper, thought I was about the only person who remembered them. They got together a few years ago for a Dirk Dirkson night at the Fillmore. It was kinda fun, but mostly it reminded all of us how old we were, and how much we missed the FabMab.

I love Flipper, and pre-Rollins Black Flag. I was born too late to see them live back in the day, or to experience the Mab, but, hey, a record player is better than nothing.

I agree on live with punk and hardcore, but metal is wayyyy better recorded sometimes. Like Unearth. I nerd hard on that band at home, but live they're too loose. Some bands nail it though. Like Nile. ->-bleeped-<- is tight with Nile. I really want to see Cephalic Carnage and The Faceless live, just to see if the music is physically possible.

Also, Napalm Death rules. I guess I'm just way more of a metalhead now than I used to be.
Anyone into Dag Nasty?
