Fun and Games For New Years

So last night we had some friends over for a new years dinner and fun. It was a couple hours till midnight. We were playing a game called "Catch Phrase". It's a very fun and exciting game and can be funny at times. Incidentally the group of people My wife, daughter and I were playing with I had mentioned in an earlier post a couple months ago. I had mentioned them because I wasn't sure how they were going to take the news of my being transgender and being full time. They have all at times expressed homophobic views. As it turns out everyone was more than OK with it. Anyway  we were all playing this game. The game is played with a hand held electronic console  that has a little digital screen that a word appears on . You have to give clues to the people on your team without saying any forum of the word. All the time a timer is counting down. You have to think quickly and when they guess the word or phrase you hand it to the next person with the timer still ticking away. It gets very loud and fast moving when the timer is about to go off. It was one of those times , the score was tied , the timer was about to go off. The console was handed to my daughter (she was on my team) The phase on the console read "leather skirt" . Well a couple days ago I had got a cute little pleather (fake leather) skirt. So my daughter yells out "OK I GOT THIS," " ROXY JUST GOT A FAKE ONE OF THESE" 😮 ........Everyone looked over at me, trying to figure out what she must of meant by the clue. I shrugged my shoulders and nodded my head as I tried to disclaim the comment. All at once everyone started laughing uncontrollably. It was hilarious . After the laughing stopped we tried to resume the game but some of the people (including me)could not concentrate on the game at hand and kept breaking out in laughter when there mind drifted back to that comment. 

  We had such a good time, just thought I would share it. Wish you all a happy new year.
