Although i've been having a lot of trouble recently with many different areas of my life I felt really good about myself today when talking to my friend. So far everyone i've told has been some what supportive even if they havent fully understood but this one friend has been amazing. I always feel a little awkward when discussing gender issues with people as i'm aware that it can be uncomfortable for them. I asked her how she felt and she went as far as to say she thought it was "cool" which is a response i've never recieved. She made me feel incredibly normal and not in the least been ashamed or embarrassed about myself. I'd recently edited some images on photoshop to make me look like i had some facial hair which I asked her to look at as I needed to know how realistic it was. She was totally fine about it when I asked her and she answered honestly. She said it was realistic but she obviously knew it was edited and so couldnt make a proper judgement. I really needed to be seen as male so I asked her if she would pass the image on to someone who didnt know me and make up some reason why she'd be sending them a random photo and she was really happy to do that for me.  She went offline shortly after so im not sure how that has gone but I feel really relieved that she hasnt found any of my requests odd and has been happy to help me.
