Binding with an especially heavy chest

Is anyone else here dealing with breasts that are unusually heavy for their size?  Mine are so heavy that the only kind of bra that works is a sturdy one with good underwires and lots of strong fasteners in back.  Anything else either rides up as the breasts escape beneath it or the straps or fasteners actually break. 

I guess the best binder for extremely heavy breasts would be something long that's solidly stitched together?  I was looking at the Les Loveboat binders because they do look comfortable, but a lot of them are short or held together by velcro.  Has anyone tried the longer pull-over Les Loveboat binders?  Do they work?

Oh I can't wait to get top surgery . . .



PS - I would have added this to the thread about binding with a large chest, but it seemed like a slightly different topic since size and weight can be different issues.

Mine are pretty dense.  I can't imagine weight opening the loveboat velcro.  Granted, it may wear out a tad faster, but I don't think you're going to have issues.  Mine's on right now and if I grab the bottom (just past the velcro) and try to pull it down I literally can't make it budge with one hand.  Seriously, I couldn't rip this off one-handed if I had to.   I have the v-neck and it's about 16" long, if that helps.

Cool.  Those binders do sound like they're well-designed.  Now to pick one from all the options . . .

That's the hard part.  I'll help narrow it down for you: if you're a C cup or higher, get one of the ones marked 'wide coverage' on their comparison chart.  I love my high strength but it's cut pretty narrow.  And from my sizing experience, don't size up at all.

would you recommend going down a size? i recall hearing some guys say their binders from here were a little looser than they like..

I would consider it if you're near the bottom of your size range.  My chest measurement (according to their measuring) is 38.  I ordered a large in the A box and it fits if I make it as tight as it will go.  When I order my next ones, I will still get a L from the B box since they're sized smaller but I'd order a medium again if I got an A.  Does that help at all?  Again, all of this is going to be personal preference as to how tight you like your binders and your exact shape.  That said, I hope my experience will help if you're unsure.

i've never had a proper binder before, and the one i'm looking at is only available in a large right now it seems.. which is what i'm sized at so i'll probably just end up going with that.
