This is inspired from a similar thread in the FTM section, which had very interesting responses.  So, what things do you do that make you feel like a woman?

Oh awesome, I was hoping someone would do this. When the blue moon strikes and I'm feeling feminine I like to do my face up pretty and style my hair.

There are many things.  Getting up in the morning as me.  Painting my nails.  Or even putting on acrylic nails.  Cleaning house.  The wind in my hair.

As I said many things.

Hmm. Dunno really.
Having things put in my vagina perhaps?  :D
I generally only have things that make me feel less of a woman these days (like reminders from my past).

There really isn't anything I do that MAKES me feel like a woman. (why do I sound like Shaina Twain)

I don't have too many hobbies now a days.

My activities usually include my children.

Most stuff I do I would consider either/or.

I golf, ride bike, swim (well not this summer) and numerous activities with my children.

If there is anything I do that could be classified womanly it is SHOPPING.

I could go shopping for anything and anytime. Although alot of the times its just to be around people. I am litterlly addicted to buying jeans, shoes and cute socks.

If I had the money I would totally redo all my interior decor. My house has such a un homey feeling to it. Most of my decor is what my ex wife left or what my Mother provided. My Mother would always give me stuff and say "oh this is a nice manly decoration" I would tell her I'm not looking for manly I want stylish and homey feeling decor.

So yes has my sense of style come out and is it feminine too feel that way, maybe but its not something I tried to do it just happened.

I would say though the most feminine aspect I have is, I'm a nurturer to my children, I always have been. I DO NOT try and be there Mother, they have one already. Its just I raise them with whats in my heart and not afraid to show them how to be a good person.

Some really petty clothes, a relaxing shower or bath with candles, stuffed animals (I think I have a stuffed animal hording problem lol), romance movies or mangas, being tenderly kissed...

Okay, so far this thread is way top-heavy with post-ops and long-term HRT users.  How about some input from those of us in early-early transition?  I don't GET to "be" a woman (other than the fact that I AM one) all that often - usually only a few hours a week.  So...

In-between (when I'm presenting as male), I first of all imagine my body as female as much as possible.  This is easiest when I'm just falling asleep or waking up.  During the day, I can usually visualize my eyelashes as having mascara on them, which helps.  I only use the urinal when I absolutely can't avoid it.  And I avoid at all costs seeing myself in the mirror.

But... when I get to...

What lets me feel most feminine is, of course, dressing.  Particularly lingerie and pantyhose.  But also makeup, wig, and clothing.  Putting on heels is a particularly feminine thing.

I am looking forward to getting rid of my beard, so I don't have to wear as much makeup.

So I generally avoid trying to fill a stereotype of a woman but ... It's getting my haircut or going to the spa.  For some reason that's the one thing that makes me feel more feminine.

The rest of the time I just sort of do what I do.  Very little of my activities involve feminine or masculine activity.  I have always subconsciously stuck to fairly neutral things.

I should probably put more effort into things like clothing though. :P

Being held by my partner, or to a slightly lesser extent, getting an unexpected "Miss" or "Ma'am" in public.

Whipping guys' butts in video games...I know it sounds weird, but I get the most flower power pride I have ever felt.  Like, "Hah!  Take that, you thought you could beat a girl but you're wrong, I whipped you into shape!"

Hmm...reading that it doesn't sound womanly at all.  Please tell me somebody knows what I'm talking about?

->-bleeped-<- yeah. I love slapping down the "You just got your ass beat by a GIRL!" when I PWN someone online.
Then again, I tend to game with my legs wide apart, sitting in my bacon-grease stained dressing gown.
At least my mouse and keyboard are pink tho, amirite?

My stepgrandad is a bigot and one day last year while I was visiting my Mom and granny he invited me to play a game of poker cause 'poker is a mans game'. (yes I was in the closet to him)

Anyways to make a long story short I cleaned him and his bigot buddies out.
When I got back from the game I showed my grandma and aunty my winings (yes I was out to them) and they gave me high fives as they mockingly said 'poker is a mans game'.

good times......

If you only know yourself, but not your opponent, you may win or may lose.
If you know neither yourself nor your enemy, you will always endanger yourself.
