On-line seems too easy

I'm really new to this, having been heavily repressing and depressing
the last several years.  but I've concluded I want to live as a woman
full-time, if I can pull it off (I've lost 38 pounds, I'd need to lose at least
80 pounds total to look at all like I think I should look like).  I've read
up on surgery and hormones, and a lot of that scares me honestly,
and I think I have moral objections to that - either that or I'm a big
chicken.  I really have never discussed things with any body.
It seems to me that on-line, I'd end up with a letter which may not
be what I want or really need.  I'm thinking a face to face with a
qualified therapist is worth the significant financial sacrifice, so
I've contacted one in my area, and am trying to set up an appoinment.
It really is an emotional strain and a financial strain, but  I can also
say honestly "eh, this is nothing".

Good call on the real life therapist.  It's super important to sort out fantasy and reality.
