"wait ,so first you said you where asexual and now your telling me your transsexual ? ... if your not going to do it why do you want a sex change ?"
classic.
I've had the
exact same conversation. With my parents.
"You wanna have a sex change?! But... you were always such a typical little boy!"
"Mom, I loved My Little Pony, hated sports, never liked toy weapons, and never liked action-filled entertainment. God's sake, I was 12 before Ninja Turtles stopped being too scary for me!"
"But... you were just a typical little, modern, softer boy!"
She has a point, in that I never had any stereotypically feminine interests (excepting My Little Pony, The Little Mermaid, and other stuff I'd watch eagerly as soon as I could use the "my little sister wants to watch it!" excuse). But, it's not like I had any stereotypically masculine ones, either!

I hate to admit it, but I had this same thought about a month ago. I realized that I couldn't be trans because I am perfectly happy as a guy and don't feel like a girl. I had a wonderfully relieved few moments until reality kicked in. Sometimes I forget that I'm not a bioguy when I'm just hanging out by myself.
*sigh* I've done that, too.
"Seems some trans women experience [X]. Well, it's an outrage, of course. Just glad I'll never have to go through that, because I'm not...
waitaminute!"
