Thanks both for your responses. I apologize for intruding on the thread.
My main issue was not with the topic but the word 'squirted' itself and that it was in the thread title where my corporate office network monitors could be alerted/triggered by it. It's one thing to try to explain to network security (should that happen) that I visit the site for support, but it wouldn't go over well if the topics that come over the network are sexual. That is one reason moderators should take care when reviewing threads and where they belong. That is why it is a concern and I continued to object as I feel there was a failure on the part of the moderators. Since I have voiced those concerns, the moderators are free to delete the objections to clear the thread. I am certainly not the only person here who works in a corporate office where this could be an issue. I believe it is an honor that corporate people feel highly enough of Susan's that they want to come here from a corporate office. If moderators don't do their jobs but instead participate in the blurring of standards, then that isn't possible. If that is the type of site we want, then so be it.
I did participate in the thread you linked to myself, Sandy. I had no problem with it at all, other than a discomfort for the reason given above. Alot of the discussion was valuable and interesting. My posts there were deleted the other day when I got upset with this. You can still find references to my posts on page 7 there.
I think it is appropriate to speak up if you have an objection to something. Especially when the title includes the word 'you', which I am one of the 'you's' being referred to. So it was addressed to me as well. And I found the word 'squirted' itself indelicate as part of the title and sexually explicit, not functional.
Peace,
Valerie
You are my hero Val. I wish i had someone like you as a mentor growing up, you are such a classy lady...something i dont come across much on here (or anywhere for that matter). I agree with you the whole "squirting" thing made my skin crawl, but i dont say anything about it because maybe that was just the way i was raised. these kind of topics are taboo where i'm from but ive discovered that gender issues and anything related to it is..whether taboo or not is completely shattered in the TG world.
Based upon all the responses youve made in threads, i've always had a ton of respect for you.
