I hate to say I told you so... but if you look at my reply in the previous thread on this subject that is EXACTLY what I predicted the response would be.

Is everyone still so sure of their opinions now? It is a complicated area with many pitfalls and unexpected consequences to actions that may seem to support your POV but ultimately only end up providing the enemy with more reasons to shut you down.

It's a good time for ths issue to be brought out into the open. Transgender people are being humiliated and taunted in the media. They are being villified and ignored by the gay lobby.

Now, perhaps we can stand up and mke our case. Insteand of relying upon the pity and apparent tolerance of a few.

I'm neither ashamed nor do I seek to excuse who I am. I don't need permission to exist. I honestly don't care about the opinions of others. I have a right to exist. I also have the same right as any other Briton, to live free from discrimiantion and harrassment.

Actually, I know of a few individuals who had changed sexuality.  It's rare, but I believe it's psychologically possible, just highly improbable.

As depressing as it is, all of them do. At least, every single country I've studied the politics of on any level and which actually uses democratic elections, total morons are being elected, and seemingly in greater number than non-morons. It's one of the reasons why I sometimes find the idea of hermitage highly appealing.

When straight men are being raised against their will as homosexual men, then I'm all for therapy to get their straight identity back.
That's the only parallel to changing genders for trans people.
This guy needs to STFU.
