Hi, everyone. Just another FTM here. I'm mostly a lurker, but I really like it here and have learned quite a lot from others' posts in a relatively short amount of time, so I'd like to say hello and make an attempt at becoming an active member. :)

I'm soon to be 26 years old, from Nova Scotia (Canada), and I just started HRT in late November. I've been going to psychotherapy sessions for a couple of years and will continue to do so as I physically transition. I'm not planning on surgery of any kind at this point, but that may change in the future. For now, HRT ought to make the desired changes.

I love animals, music, humour, and I play bass in a heavy metal band. My hair is long and I intend to keep it that way, whether it interferes with passing or not. I can't even pass for a woman, much less a man. Usually, I'm regarded as a teenage girl. Very frustrating, but I maintain a pretty good sense of humour about it.

I'm open to any questions or private messages, so feel free. Hope to make some friends here.

Welcome to Susan's, Coyote.

I used to just lurk, but it is nice being able to post an opinion now and again. It's nice to see that you decided to come out of the shadows so to say.

I wouldn't worry too much about the hair, do what ever makes you feel the best. I know quite a few guys who have long hair.

Hi Coyote, :icon_wave:

Welcome to our little family. Over 5100 strong. That would be one heck of a family reunion.

Feel free to post your successes/failures, Hopes/dreams.  Ask questions and seek answers. Give and receive advice.

But remember we are family here, your family now. And it is always nice to have another brother. :icon_hug:

And be sure to check out these links ( MUST READS )

Thanks!

Mrs Erocse, NS is definitely a great place. I can't think of a better place to live, really.
