I have not talked to anyone about trans issues before, but I was talking to my little brother earlier and decided to throw something at him because I figured he wouldn't think much of it. He's seven, and we are super close, because of our age difference (I'm 19) I've helped take care of him a lot. Anyways, I was just like "What if I was your brother instead of your sister?" and with no hesitation he said "You'd still be nice to me and be funny, gender doesn't matter." Words of wisdom from a little kid, it was so nice. I let it drop after that, of course, but if I ever decide to further this whole thing I think he'll be totally cool with it, I'm so happy

(and he tells me often that I look like a boy anyways, it's quite funny)
Anyone else have similar reactions from children?
