I don't post often, but I just want to share my happy stories with you guys because I'm pre-t and still insanely overexcited by the little things, and I told my friends (only some of which I'm out to) and they were happy that I was happy but confused as to how I don't see passing as embarrassing.

At least I know their hearts are in the right place (places?).
A new semester started yesterday at my high school and I only started one new class (Psychology) as the rest are year-long. I wasn't sure what to do about telling the teacher, because I didn't write letters to any of my other teachers at the beginning of the year explaining the situation, and I don't want to confuse anyone too horribly. I just walked into the room, feeling all confident with my best flannel shirt on, and sat down in the back corner near the noisy air vents where I belong

. Then a boy, sitting on top of a desk and pretty much putting on a comedy act for people as they walked in (evidently our class clown), turns to me and says "Hey, bro, I got the same flannel as you," and then we worked out a schedule to ensure we wouldn't wear it on the same day. I have been "sir"ed before by many vision-impaired grandparents, but I have never been "bro"ed. It was a great feeling, and the rest of the class seems to be following his lead. I think this says something about psychology or maybe sociology but I don't know because we've barely started the class yet.

Then today in another class, as we were picking numbers out of a hat and the teacher absolutely insisted that "ladies go first", I was planning on waiting for that gap in between the last girl and first boy so I could slip in there and not feel quite so awkward. The last girl went, then he hovered over to a group of boys, and all the while I was standing in the noisy air vent corner next to a male classmate and we both had the dumbest grins on our faces. The teacher was very embarrassed and mumbled something about forgetting I was there.

Sorry if I typed too much. Coffee, you know.
If you have any passing experiences that left you so happy you can't stand to keep it to yourself, happily post them here and I'll be happy to share in your happiness.
