Futon-queen
Other/No bed

Morgan

I have chronic back pain, so if I don't squish a foot into the bed when I lay down then I ain't sleepin'!  :D

My girlfriend however, sleeps on her parents couch because her brother is too fat to sleep on the couch. He's sleeping on her bed currently :(

For the longest time I had a full size futon. Then my back started hurting more so I got an actual mattress (queen size) but then that mattress didn't help and then I found out about all the crazy chemicals that go into a mattress and I thought, wait if I'm all into natural health now and I sleep on a bed of chemicals on average of 8 hours a day that's kinda whack (around about the same time I also found out that like a 5 year old mattress can have something like 50 pounds of dust mite ->-bleeped-<- in it). So I splurged on this 100% organic, natural latex mattress with a 3" topper of the same material (dust mites can't live in the natural latex btw so if you're prone to allergies or just don't want to sleep on heaps of old dust mite ->-bleeped-<- and can afford it, go with the natural latex). I tell you, it's like sleeping on a magical marshmallow. I'd never give that thing up!! And amazingly, the very first night on it I had ZERO back pain in the morning. Worth every outrageous penny I paid for it.

I do have to share it with a snoring walrus though. Oh. Did I say walrus? I mean my lovable other half.

But is it expensive? I definitely need a new mattress.

I sleep with a body pillow by my side, got used to sleeping with someone.

I have a regular old single bed. When we first moved to this house, there was a huge double bed in my room that the previous owners had left behind. I loved it, but after a few weeks I realised how much I needed the floor space and had to get rid of it :(

My boyfriend and I have a king.  I bought it a few years ago because he, my dog, and I were trying to fit onto a twin.  We still fight over the king though.  ::)

I... wow, have no idea which bed names mean what size.
My bed in my childhood room is a single (twin?) - where I currently live it's a double (uh, king? queen? I have no idea).

Unfortunately they are. When all was said and done ours was about $3200. Like I said though, it's a serious investment that I'm really glad I made because it did benefit me greatly. You could also just get a mattress topper that's about 3" of the stuff and those run around $400. http://www.absolutecomfortonsale.com/latexfoam.htm That's just one company. There's a bunch out there. The key is natural latex, organic, no-chemical, etc. Mine is also a "soft" (they come in different firmness). Best thing you can do if you're serious about getting one even in the future is to go to a local mattress store that carries them then you can get a feel for the firmness and whatnot.
