And I cried. I did...I regretted it immediately. Not that I said anything, though.

The Documentary is TRANSPHOBIIIIIIIIIC!!!!
Nice find. How detransitioners are seen by trans communities is pretty much proof they are a cult. If they weren't, they'd welcome them and spread their stories to all the masses of unsure transitioners instead of the usual "TRANZPHOBIIIIAAA!" parade.
I really wish I could feel more positive about this sort of thing and comments such as those above.
If transgender were a cult, it would be actively recruting people to join.
The antipathy many transgender people will, I suspect, feel toward this and other, similar stories are that they are trite and flippant.
In every single example of people expressing these sort of regrets, there is an obvious feeling that there is somethign more going on.
How can any sane person beleive that, post op, when the bandages are removed, there might be something there?
How can any sane person believe that, by altering their physical gender, their problems will disappear?
It would be interesting and informative of the issus of people who do express regrets could be properly examined. But sadly, this is not proper examination at all.
