Yesterday I received my "Certificate of Authenticity" from Dr Brassard

Duly notarized legalized, and certified. So today it was off to the Ministry of Transport and I finally was able to get that typo corrected. Then it was off to Ministry of Health to get the same thing done there.
The girls at the transport office were very cool but the gent at the health office was a little up tight. He must have read the letter four times and after each time he would look at me, I have expected him to ask me to prove it

But each time he looked at me I simply smiled and batted my eyelashes

He reluctantly made the appropriate change, gave me a temporary certificate, confirming the change until my health card arrived by mail, and I smiled sweetly at him gushing "Thank you so much for your help". LOL I got a smile out of him, and I left.
The only thing left that I want to/need to get done is to get my passport. That's going to be a pain as there is a huge backlog due to the new border crossing requirements imposed by the U.S. to beef up security. Oh well.
