My ex would always sew pockets in any new pants or skirt or dress she bought.  (One time she measured wrong and put them about mid-thigh. ::))

You're right, Roxy, it can be the little things that can get you down.  I tell my friends that this is just a very complex process.  But each little thing can also add to the wonderful sense of accomplishment.

My favorite purse is a Brighton, too.  It has a 20" strap that I can put on my shoulder or hold in my hand.  When I carry it on my shoulder, I often hold my upper arm against my body with the purse behind me, kind of clamped on.  I think that as your body changes from the E (less upper-body muscle) and with practice it gets easier and more natural.  I've never had one of the medium-strap purses slide off but have had long-strapped ones do it. :P

And I think Roxy is a fitting name. :)
