ok, so I like my junk food, what can I say, the thing I was wondering is, females gain weight in areas like their breasts, hips, stomach, arms, thighs.  men generally gain weight in their stomachs.

so, being 4 months on T, if I were to gain weight, would I gain it in my stomach, or gain it in my hips/chest?  or do I need to be on T longer?

my reason for asking is, if im gonna be getting fatter hips/boobs then i will be more inclined to cut back on my junk food, but if its not gonna make my hips bigger then Im gonna just not worry about it.

anyone know an answer for me?

also, being 4 months on T, if I were to work out, do a lot of cardio, would my body fat from my hips go away sooner, then if i were to just wait for T to do its work?

I can speak from my own experience. I gained back a little weight recently. Some of it collected all over--even men will do that--and some of it collected in my belly.

Yep, that's actually something often suggested to make the changes like that happen faster.

As an MTF the changes in fat redistribution were apparant after a couple of weeks of HRT, I would gain weight in the girl areas(hips, breasts, thighs) and lost weight in my waist for example. I assume for an FTM at 4 months you are likely to gain weight in the 'guy areas' as you desire :) instead of the areas you used to gain weight. As for your question about working out; i'm not sure on that and cannot help you.

As a general advice I would cut down on junk food anyway :P i've tried it myself and started to like other foods as well. Nowadays I only eat junkfood once a month or so..

At 4 months on T you'll likely gain weight in male areas, ie: love handles/high belly. And yes if you work out you will likely accelerate the fat loss from female areas like hips/thighs. At 6 months my hips and curvy thighs are nearly gone, even though I'm still too fat all over. But it's all male-pattern fat which I can live with as I work the rest off.

Problem being that the pants that fit then, are now needing to be taken in in the hips/thighs area. I look like I'm wearing cargo pants instead of reg jeans. My belly however means the waist size is the same.  I'm too poor to deal with this.

That happened to me, too, LordKAT. The jeans I had prior to HRT ended up like a sack and when they fell once in public I realized I really had to get a new pair. I was pretty happy to fit into normal non-baggy (but still generous) jeans cut for a guy but I've lost even more hip/thigh girlfat since then. These aren't sack-like but I no longer have hips to hold them up. Belts are still awkward.

I have to hike them up every few minutes, I'm wondering if it's better to find out if they can be taken in or just bite the bullet and get new ones.
