Anyone ever have a problem with this?  The scar line along the top of my forehead is healing well but one of the sutures pocked through.  Almost like an ingrown hair.  Anyway, it was too short to grab with a pair of tweezers so I massaged it back it where hopefully it'll stay until it dissolves.  But I've read these things keep coming to the surface in some people.

Anyone?  Bueller?

I dont THINK its that big of a deal becuase they will eventually dissolve or come out.

You could be spitting sutures for a few weeks.  But it will stop eventually.

Sutures are going either to be absorbed, or to fall off naturally as your wounds are healing. Don't try to extract them and don't be in a hurry, a few weeks is perfectly normal...

Yep...Alexis

I'm still in the hell & torment phase, upright sleeping, still swollen, tight around the eyes.... I will be 3 weeks post op ffs/facelift/necklift this coming tues...

And though I'm shed loads better than 10 days ago... where i ersemblled an sci-fi mekon... I'm still wandering around like a victim of domestic violence with purple stuff still showing...with an internal tightness around my forehead, and vision that's still to return to fully normal.... Reading I have to limit to an hour so then it's blurred...offline...till rested.

Being jet lagged doesn't help, either...  >:-)

In my hairline and back-o-head I have many icky scar/suture-lines where all the drains where exiting... So i don't expect those to heal for some months... more...

Like a foxtrot me thinks this whole process is slow, slow, quick, quick and slow...

But form me personally this has been a much bigger deal than the SRS was....and you only have to wait around 5 months or so to know if its been really worth it!!   ???

I suspect once more if yous be in yer 30's you heal far quicker....

I was told that this is perfectly normal and to be expected by Dr. Z.  He instructed me to pull them when I could and cut them flush to the surface.  It has been over 3 months since my surgery and I still spit the odd suture.
