Can love truly conquer all?

In playwright Jane Anderson's bittersweet drama, "Looking for Normal," that concept is truly put to the test.

Roy (played by L. Michael Scovel) is a middle-aged, working-class man living a quiet life in middle-America. But shortly after Roy and his wife, Irma, (played by Deb Note-Farwell) celebrate their 25th wedding anniversary, Roy reveals a long-held secret: He believes he's a woman trapped in a man's body. Roy has decided his outsides need to reflect his insides, and he wants to undergo a sex change. It's a decision that shakes Roy's family and their community to the core.
