Okay so I'm thinking soon I want to really get into packing. I've already got a regular packer which I can use but I'm thinking that I want to get one that can be glued on but I don't really know much about them yet. Does anyone use the glue on ones that can give me some suggestions on one that isn't horribly expensive yet isn't total crap? Also, I'd like to be able to have an STP device for it. I've never used STP devices yet so I'm new with that too. Suggestions and advice please!

I suggest that you search for some existing threads on packers and STPs. Use the advanced search, though, not the basic search.

I've never been particularly drawn to the glue-on (gluon?) packers. I'm not keen on the idea of shaving off half of my pubic hair.

I don't like the gel packers much because they don't have the right firmness or texture. The GoodVibes comes closer, but there are two problems with it, as far as I'm concerned. First, since it is firmer, it seems a bit larger and doesn't tuck quite as efficiently as a gel model. Second, it IS larger. I wish GV would come up with a four-inch version so I don't sometimes feel (when it shifts into the wrong position and won't behave) as if I'm trying to do a bad imitation of John Holmes.

Yea I've actually got one of both of those already. A GV one and a softer one. The GV one does seem a bit big to me and feels someone offensive. I'd rather pack with the other but my main thing really is wanting to get one with a STP that I don't have to worry about falling out of my pants because I've had that happen -.-

I guess you need an STP harness. I use TranzWear myself, but I haven't really tested it with my STP device. I'm not completely happy with the STP design; it's a Stand to Urimate, built on a GV packer, so it's pretty big--but my main gripe is the tubing. A little too stiff for easy tucking. I would have designed it differently, but it's possible that the designer already tried my idea and found it wanting. Still, I will have to experiment.

The only kind of TranzWear undies that work with an STP seem to be the ones with the C-ring.

Some guys were talking about different underwear on another thread--can't remember the name of the underwear, but the thread was pretty recent.

I bought a likereal prosthetic. The small dual one, 310. It was under 200 I think. I have many complaints.

It is too heavy for me personally to be comfortable. After I became more aware of how heavy it is I ended up using one of the cheap ones again.

The specific model I got was too small and not hard enough to actually have sex with. (I didn't try, I just assumed)

It was also too hard to lay completely flat while packing day to day.

The glue that is provided with the likereal is crappy. It doesn't stick well unless you get the timing EXACTLY right and if you sweat it starts to peel off and slide around.

The part you glue to you is so wide that I had to cut the edges of mine so that it could actually fit  comfortably without the edges rolling and sticking to my underwear.

I didn't get an STP but other people have said that the likereal STP system isn't good because it is just a thin piece of rubber.

Maybe if I had devoted more time to working with times and things like that my experience would have been better but I didn't want to have to work for the ideal experience. I don't pack anymore at all actually.
Call me a cheat but I make my own fate.

The prosthetics and packers that are meant to be glued to the body directly (and not just worn in a harness) are all more expensive than the cheaper kinds. I have heard complaints about almost every single one (lola jake, like real, ftm prosthetics) because they are too heavy, too big, or not realistic or the adhesive doesn't work.

Also, you need to figure out what kind of STP device you can use first, rather than buying a more expensive prosthetic that has an stp option and hoping that it works for you. Not everyone has the same level of success with different kinds of STPs. First, figure out how it works for you (e.g. medicine spoon or other device). THEN see which prosthetics can incorporate that.

I am unaware of ANY prosthetic that has gotten good reviews for being worn with adhesive AND has a good STP.

Last, if your problem is the packer falling out, then you may just need better harness or underwear pouch. I find that sometimes a jockstrap can be more comfortable than the one elastic band style of harness.

You can make your packers into stps. I just have the cheapy soft packers, too poor to try a glue on prosthetic.
I agree, that since uve never used an stp, itd be best to try some types out before you invest in one. You can get medicine spoons for free at a pharmacy and just cut off the end. Or you can get a FUD online, or at a sports store.

Okay so I did some more thinking and I decided that I want to just try a packer with a Stp and see if I can get used to it before I dish out the big bucks. I've done a little reading around here but is there anyone who can recommend a packer with a Stp that is under $100? I've mostly just been reading around that people aren't sure which ones to get so does anyone have one that they actually like? Doesn't have to be glue on.

I've really liked the Whiz packer, it has worked the best for out of all the STP's I've tried.  I like that the funnel part is designed for our female anatomy.  However, please take into account what I said on another thread.

"I know everybody has different opinions on what works and what doesn't.  Just as everyone's body is different.  What works well for me obviously may not work well for Tom, Dick or Harry.   Unfortunately, in order for us trans guys to feel whole, we have to use the trial and error method to find out what does work for us.  Just as in finding the right binders that fit or flatten us correctly, STP's are no different."

I haven't tried one yet but when I do I'll be ordering from Nick off of the guy gear site (gearguygear.com). I got a binder from him from the Big Brothers Binder Program and he is awesome. He was sick so my binder came a day later than estimated but he kept in email contact with me to let me know. When I wrote him a thank you after getting it he responded so it showed me he really does care. Also he's a transguy himself so he gets it ya know?

I hear the nipple style is best if you don't want to get to know your junk real well. I'm gonna get the STUD which is a packer and STP device Sili-cup which is the nipple style. Plus he has some cheap packer holders and he has good options if you have allergies. Sorry for promoting him so much but I've just had really good experiences. Good luck with whatever you choose :)
