Hips?!

I often get pain in parts of the body several days before I notice a visible change.  If something changes really fast I get a feeling like a twitch in the fatty areas of the body.  I don't think I've had it happen in the hips, but only in the thighs and upper arms.

I'm not on HRT though, I'm attempting a transition through more naturalistic means.  I noticed that these funny symptoms seem to depend upon the speed that the body is changing.  So it probably depends on how much hormones you are taking and your genetics that determine whether or not you feel anything change.  But I definitely do get odd sensations in the parts of the body which are changing the most, which so far have been my buttocks/thighs.

I was on hrt for about a year before I noticed anything happening back there. My hips have always had a feminine shape but now I have to say I have a nice rear end. Now I can feel it when I walk-I couldn't before hrt.

You definitely have hips!  It looks a lot like you've got a bit of an hour-glass figure going and I know some girls who would be insanely jealous to have your body!

What are your measurements? Have you been keeping a journal of them to see if things are changing?

I did mine this morning but my ratios seem promising, but I haven't started HRT yet.  (Eternal wait to see the Endo)

I am currently 37 inch Chest, 32 inch Waist, 37 inch Hips.

I wish I had kept a log of measurement changes:

I do know pre-HRT it was 36" chest,  32" waist, 38" hips

20 months later: 32" chest, 28" waist, 38" hips

As for the in between I have no idea.  Oh no, my hips never got any wider!

I'm going to keep a log, it will be in the form of a transition diary. I envision my professor chanting, "You can't do science without a journal!"

I'm sure it would be a useful thing to look back on during challenging times. Think about it.
