Carlisle men fined for shouting abuse at trans women

The men were told that they would be fined "as much as we possibly can" because the harassment was unprovoked, sexually-oriented and took place in public.

They were each given an £85 fine with £75 costs and told to pay a £15 victim surcharge.

They were also handed a 12-month restraining order banning them from contacting the women.
