I have been on HRT for 1 year now, and I have had many changes in my body :) yay!!! Although im wondering, when do the HRT effects/changes stabilize? Should i expect more good changes? or should i expect nothing more or little additional changes? I know the breast growth takes about 3 years... but not sure about the rest. Thank you ladies.

1 year after!

Full female puberty takes about ten years. Expect most of your changes to occur within 6. I've heard that two years development can give you a good idea of final breast size.

But I'm new to this, I only know what I read here and learn from the counselor.

Just my own perspective, but if that's what you can achieve in a year, then more of the same.

Had a look at your Youtube page. You seem a really lovely person. Perhaps you should turn off your monitor when recording. You were obviously distracted. But it was still funny and interesting.

And Great News on the assignment.

You are beautiful! I actually sub'd to your Youtube channel. LOL
I am around 4 months into my HRT and from what I gather it is always different with each individual.  For some, it may keep changing for others it might slow down (at least in your eyes).
I think the fact that you started earlier in life is to your advantage and you might see more "improvements" but in subtler ways.

p.s. I may need you for some make-up tips ;)

May I just say you are amazingly gorgeous! =)

That aside, I've heard 6 or more years for major changes. A lot of things happen within the first 2 or 3 I think but some of it is more subtle over a longer period of time. That's at least how I understand it, anyway

At about 2 years, my body is definitely still changing. I've talked with people that still had changes up to 5-6. None of these are immediate changes, but you may one day find yourself looking at pictures thinking about the changes.

The above ticker is meant as a joke! Laugh! Everyone knows the real zombie apocalypse isn't until 12/21/12....

Your gorgeous but I can't get over how fast your hair grew.

As someone said already, everyone is different but on the whole its 1-5 years and 6-7 with subtle changes. It is after all a female puberty. Also age at start is significant. I've been on HRT for 2 1/2 years but since my GRS I've had vast changes is fat redistribution particularly in the boob area.

It also has to do with the amount of estrogen receptors your body has so if someone has less then no amount of estrogen with make any difference. This is also true in cis gendered and why female bodies are also quite different from one another.

Well this makes me feel really good about myself!

You look great! I've been watching your youtube videos for a few months now, congrats! :D You're gorgeous and if you didn't have the channel and before pictures, I'd never believe you were trans. Even if you said you were lol.

Anyways =D Did you do anything to get your hair to grow faster? Mine is taking forever!

This freaks me out. If hormones don't do something to me I don't know what I'd do. At least the AA's will stop further masculinization, Male pattern baldness, and slow body hair growth, right?

I'm sure it'll do "something" to you.  The first thing I saw was major fat distribution and my thighs and hips developed into some nice curves. Granted everyone is different.  I'm not even part time yet.  I kinda hide it for now. Just remember it doesn't happen over night (although I wish it did).  Your body AND your mind need time to adjust as well.
I'm 4 months into my HRT and it's been great.

Exactly so Jerica...

Contrary to some peeps beliefs whom regularly stick in there bit on this forum, the body is not a fixed entity...

The best description of an u'man I ever, ever heard was from Sir Jonathan Wolfe Miller, he trained as a physician in the late 1950s by coincidence when I was born...  :P

It went something like this...

"If you stand several hundred yards away from an ornamental fountain dong its thing it can look rigid i.e. a fixed entity shape"

Though if you walk right up to it close - its actually a lot of water droplets dancing in harmonic energy...

Its exactly the same with your body...its a mass of dancing molecules & cells... which is why until you die it will continually change and modify....

If you introduce any drug HRT or otherwise it has the potential to alter the sequence...

How much though is a variable too...

I didn't intend to freak anyone out Marina. The thing is, you have to wait and see. I'm of the opinion that you have to give it 5-7years. I knew some pre op girls who have had boob jobs at two years because they had relatively little growth. I did have good growth pre op but substantial movement of body fat after GRS. My thighs, bum, boobs, upper body muscle loss, slightly more female facial fat. It will not alter bone structure although in saying that I've also lost just under 2 inches in hight. I used to be 5ft 7inches but now I'm just over 5ft 5inches. Its not common although some one else I knew had the same. Its due to muscle loss in the back. I had to be checked out by my GP just in case of  osteoarthritis but all was OK.

There will be some strange and bizarre things that go on that come as a surprise, a welcome one I might add.

I think I've finally learned and accepted that we are all different once on HRT. I have been on HRT for 11 months and I know there's some changes. Although my boobs are not yet the size I want, I feel they will be. My face is a little fuller and my over all size is def smaller. I think one of my biggest changes is my waist line...Huge difference. FOR SURE ladies jeans fit much betr than male jeans...I prob will get breast augmentation, but I will wait another yr 1st....

I agree. You know i think im on month 14 and you know something, i am forever thankful i didnt get and surgical procedures in my past. (procedures like implants; boobs or any other kind) because my body is responding very strongly. i am growing so fast that i have stretch marks on my thighs and hips.....and my brerasts a little.....time to break out the cocoa butter
