OTTAWA — The House of Commons passed a bill Wednesday that will amend the Canadian Human Rights Act and Criminal Code, adding protective measures for transgender and transsexual people.

This report is on an evangelical Christian site, and some of the information is completely false, like teaching trans issues to kindergarten students (scare tactics). The first link you provided was for a legitimate, fact-based, news site.
