Dr. Phil Should Stop Dispensing Thirty Year Old Discredited Advice- NOW

It is time that Dr. Phil- who has no licence to practice therapy any more- be shut down. The homophobic, transphobic showman has decided to do damage to hundreds of thousands of children because of his intolerance and his quackery. Dr. Phil is, basically, nothing more than a snake oil salesman who peddles phony baloney cures to what ails people in order to throw them up on the little screen for people to watch and feel glad about how their lives are so much better off than those poor schmucks who have to go on his shows.

The latest is his decision to tell a parent to take away a young boy's toys and clothes because the mother, Robbie, is more concerned about kowtowing to damaging patriarchal standards than raising a happy, healthy son. Robbie is more than willing to risk emotionally damaging his son in order to make sure that his masculinity is protected.

I've got into a little conflict on here for my strong views on psychologists. I will add that I especially dislike the notion of pop psychology. I need to make these points.

We don't see this guy here in the UK, as far as I know. So I've accessed his web site and it seems to be saying things that are a little different from that reported.

Be glad you do get this piece of crap.  Jerry Springer at least does not start out saying TS/TG is normal and then bring on so call "experts" to say it is a learn behavior and it is the parents fault.

This fake doctor should have been arrested and tried as practicing medicine without a license.

It would appear that in 2008 he said it was normal and in 2002 he thought otherwise. Maybe he has learned a thing or two. Why is this being brought up as if it is new  when it is almost 10 years past? His newer shows show a different perspective.

Possibly Kat.

Or perhaps he's just spouting whatever he thinks will get him the most notice.

Like a good pop psychologist/showman should!

Incidently, is Jerry Springer taken seriously in the States? I ask because here he is seen as a bit of fun for those that like to watch people being humiliated. I did watch his program a few times. The guests seemed to be working to a rough script. I noticed that, the outbursts often came either a bit early or late.
