Well, my eighteenth is officially over!

It was a pretty boring day over all. I didn't get to sleep until about eight am this morning (have insomnia), so I slept through most of the day anyway. Then I got up, got dressed, went out for dinner with my mum, step-father, sister and step-brother, and that was it. I don't really feel any different, which is kind of odd, but I'm not sure what I expected anyway :P

There was a highlight to my day though. A few hours ago my one and only friend wished me happy birthday over MSN, and followed it up with 'So how does it feel to be eighteen birthday boy?', and that just about made my whole night. Everything is kind of going to hell, but at least there's one person in my life who accepts me the way I am, and the way that I will be.

Not really any point to this post, just thought I'd get it out. My posts have all been misserable lately, so I thought a lighter one might be appreciated  :D I'll go to bed tonight happy in the knowledge that my one friend thinks of me as her guy pal, through and through. And perhaps, that was the best birthday present I could possibly receive  ;)

That's great your friend sees you as a guy pal. :)
