What has it been like, playing one of the few transgendered characters in all of television? Is it easier to play a trans character now that you've been doing it for a few months?
First off, it is an honour just to be on Degrassi which now has a 30-year legacy. As for playing one of the few transgender characters on TV, it has been an incredible experience. It really has given me a lot to sink my teeth into and it is so fascinating to play a character with such depth. I would say that it is easier to play a transgender character now as far some of the physical things are concerned – like walking, body language and talking. On the other hand, the writers keep giving me great material to work with so I always feel challenged in such a great way. I have to say, I love Adam!
