Amazing Romantic Get-a-Way

Can I just say I had the most amazing weekend.  The wife and I decided we needed to get away for a weekend and just relax...we use to do it all the time but with stress and life events we haven't done it for over a year.

We packed up and went only an hour away but it was great to getaway.  There was an event called social ice ... where it had a bar made out of ice & a band just outside out hotel.  The drinks were given to you in glasses made out of ice -- it was neat.

The best part of the weekend was .... my wife introduced me to others as her husband...used male pronouns... and called me mister & sir all weekend long.  It felt so good!

That sounds so fun !!! I am glad you had such a good time. And for your wife to have given to you what you needed just makes it all the more wonderful.  I hope that good feeling stays with you for a long time.

OK, but how do you hold on to a glass made of ice? It seems like it would either stick to your fingers or slip out of your hand? I don't think a hot toddy would do well served in a glass like that..
