Mr.Hyde

I don't know if it's the right place to post but oh well, sorry if I'm wrong.

Sooo I'm back from my top surgery (double incision with nipple grafts), I'm in my 3º week already...and I'm not so in pain anymore, I can feel my skin on the pecs etc but not in my nipples or the scars, I know that is normal for now but... will I recover sensivity over time? Because the nipples and scars feel like numb. And it's just weird, like if they were still under anesthesia. Plus, the zones right below my nipples and right above the scars are a bit grayish, I'm going to try to get a picture tomorrow for ya guys... I had a look on youtube and there are guys who talk about sensivity but my ears can't understand english very well so I miss a lot of info I'm sure...

Also, since I've been wearing a girdle/binder all the time, day and night (I'll be allowed to put it off this sunday) and all the skin of my back and front which had contact with the binder is peeling off like mad. I do peelings every days and yet the next day my skin is peeling off like a snake's... it's not allergy since now I put a cotton t-shirt between my skin and the binder, I suppose is more like my skin can't breathe...

But hey returning to the main question for you guys who have had done the top surgery... how much sensitvity do you have now? Did you recover some over time? Did you lose some?

Thanks guys-

Congrats.
I'm pre op, but from what I heard on youtube and such, you will regain some. You may have permanent numbness in areas too.

I've been gradually getting feeling back in my chest. I've gotten slight feeling back in my nipples but they're still really numb. I have some feeling in my scars too.

What I noticed is that when my nerves started growing back it itched. I also get nerve "shocks" from my nipples because of nerves growing back. Not the most fun thing. I've heard feeling comes back more and more over time but the nipples may never gain the same sensitivity as before.

My skin started drying out big time from the compression vest so I've started putting lotion on. I'm sure it's a mixture of the vest always being on and the cold, dry air.
