Don't get too excited just yet this isn't really feasible for that purpose just yet. because you'd basically take DNA from one animal make a Chimera female child then cross that female chimera with the other father to get contributions of both.

It's a generational thing whitch isn't a problem with mice but with humans it would be unethical.

Yeah I know that to be true but think with the way medical and technology advances go (the speed it progresses) we may see something like this in 5 to 10 years in more complex animals, maybe even humans?

I wouldn't have thought so working in science I see all sorts of grand promises whitch then turn out to have complications impairing it's deployment this method isn't viable for humans it would be unethical.

I can see this having applications for livestock and for us scientists isolating gene varients.

Maybe one day in the future 30-50 years maybe but not within any reasonable time frame.
