irc problems

Hi everyone, i was wondering if anyone could help me with a problem
im a student living in university accomodation, and our network blocks irc, and i wont be able to get on the susans irc...
now ive been told putty? works, but i dont know how, or what to do? anyone got any ideas?
i really need to be able to get access this year, (wont be able to use otherwise till june) and with going ft, hrt and stuff this year, the support is really vital to me.
any ideas wellcome.

I wanna help but i got that IS issue what's the term where "me" the user is the problem that is between the keyboard and the chair..

Hey Rachael,

We were looking at your issue and we came up with this solution. This is from the Big Cheese herself.

"<Susan|AFK> You know we allow connections from the following ports- 6666 6667 7177 and 7575. It will let you access Susans if they are blocking based on port instead of protocol scanning, which is likely."
