Hey, I'm marte. I'm 18 and live in Portugal. A law was just approved here to make it legal for transgendered people to oficially change their sex and name

I am a girl biologically, and I think I will always stay one, although I don't want to. I'm too embarrassed to face my family and friends about it... I decided to join these forums so I don't feel so lonely.
Hope I can meet some new friends here, and get some advice.

I'll hope you meet a lot of friends around here, lonelyness sucks.
Don't be embarressed, it's not your fault you've a girls body and a guy's brains.

But I know it's hard to tell what's wrong, so take your time for it and when you are ready it's time to tell, not sooner, not later.
This is a site with a lot of compassionated people, a lot of them have a lot of expirience and wisdom.
I'm quite sure that there are a lot of guys who can help you with advice.

Anyway, you've made the first step by recognizing the problem and find some people who can help you.
I'll hope you have a wonderfull time here.
