I was surfing the web this morning and came across a hair removal cream that permanently removes hair from any part of your body!  :o  The product is called Crotex Cream. Have any of you heard of this product or maybe used this product?
It seems rather expensive at 298 euros, but compared to laser and electrolysis, it seems cheap. One application is apparently all that is needed.

Any feedback would be appreciated.

looks like a scam, everything I've been able to search is SEO (search engine optimization) generated. (in other words, no information except cloned pages that link back to their website in order to make it look popular)
Soft kitty, warm kitty, little ball of fur. Happy kitty, sleepy kitty, purr, purr, purr.

Their web address is www.crotexcream.com. There is a whole page of testimonials as well.

The cream dosen't disclose it's active ingredient thus it has no clinical trial no science and it's intentionally misleading about what it's chemical action is. They are lying. The testimonials are lies too.

It's a scam I'd bet 200Euros or whatever that it is.

The company is based in Cypress. It isn't very forthcoming about itself.

Nice idea, but it could do almost anything. Taking legal action in Cypress would be really difficult.

Mmmm......me thinks you girls are right.  :-\ Paying almost 300 Euros is rather pricey, especially in our South African currency. Taking legal action against a company in Cyprus will be next to impossible.
Guess I'll stick to laser or electrolysis. At least we all know it works.

Big hug to you too Spacial

Any cream that permanently removes hair with one application is likely to be so toxic that you don't need a second application due to death. This sounds like a typical scam.  In Australia we did trial a product to make sheep shed their fleece rather than having to be sheared, it worked, but the sheep had a poor survival rate. Laser and electrolysis I'm afraid.

If your body hair is dark on light coloured skin laser can be very effective very quickly and then you can  mop up the rest with electro.

Thanks Cindy,
As they say, if it sounds too good to be true, it usually is! :D It seems it is going to be laser for me.

How are things going now in Australia after the flooding and hurricanes? We are not hearing too much here by us in the news anymore.
It is very sad about the earthquakes in New Zealand.

Hello, I´ve been trying to now more about Crotex, now I know it´s a reality, by that I mean that it exists, however there is still the uncertainty of having it work and the big uncertainty if it is safe. I´d hate to find out years later after using it that I shouldn´t have. If anyone knows more about this product, please poste your information, I´d like to know, thank you.

I don't know anything about Crotex, but I have a general rule to never believe any testimonial appearing on a product's own website; paid endorsements are really nothing but ads.  To get the real truth, you need to find actual buyers of the stuff and see what they are saying.  If you can't find anyone saying good things anywhere but on the product website, be suspicious.

For something like Crotex, I would LOVE to find such a miracle product.  If I tried it and it really worked and did everything it claimed and didn't burn my face off, you can bet I'd be endorsing it all over the Internet.

It looks fake, I'm pretty sure the only thing that can remove hair permanently is laser hair removal.

I wouldnt touch it with a 20 foot barge pole!!
It reeks of being a fake & a scam, plus I tried a well known hair removal cream & after a few seconds on me it removed my skin & left the hair untouched, i'm glad I only did a tiny test patch.

Anything strong enough to permenantly remove hair would probably be very dangerous

The only hair removal cream I know of is Vaniqa, available by prescription. Even that "slows" growth, not remove.

That other stuff just reeks scam. If it sounds too good to be true, it aint.

If there were a cream that permanently removed hair they could charge 3 times that and not be able to make it fast enough.  I don't think they would even have to advertise it.

This is surely a scam.  Pay in advance, wait maybe 5 months to get the product, and no guarantee.  It looks like they don't take credit cards, which could be reversed if the product doesn't meet the basic test of merchantability (do what is supposed to do.)  One of the biggest scams is to provide a money-back guarantee.  Even if the product totally sucks, not everyone will bother to return it.  They don't even do that.

And the testimonials are laughable.  Ok, someone spent all that money on a mail order product, and forgot about it, in their garage for months?  Yeah right, that happens alot.
