I have a tidal river that just about touches my backyard, so I like to catch striped bass (schoolies) and cook them up. I'm also a really good shot with a rifle, and scored 40 out of 40 with the M16 when I served in the Army. Hugs, Eagle Eye

i enjoy fishing....i dont like hunting. Ive tried it. I can't pull the trigger and kill an animal (and yet I can kill fish....go figure lol)

I used to do both, but I'm just too squeamish to clean the kills. Guided hunts and fishing trips are out of my price range, and my overall interest had dropped off in recent years anyway.

Avid hunter and fisherman here.  I religiously made every season each year, but deer and turkey were my biggest enjoyment.  I love having a go at bass.  Being in Australia has meant that hunting is now only an option for when I visit the U.S. as Oz has more regulations for firearms and not much to hunt except for feral pigs, foxes and rabbits.

I used to hunt. Hunting and grocery shopping were kind of blurred together where I grew up.
But as I grew older I found the rifle range didn't require me to be awake before dawn and Costco didn't require me to drag my food for miles.

fishing is relaxing :)

I love fishing. It's fun. Well, not fun for the poor lil' fishies. I like to catch them and then throw them back in the water. I've never tried hunting before but it sounds fun and scary at the same time.

I do trapping and tagging with biologists. Never harmed an animal by doing so. I don't hunt, but ecologists respect and consider the needs / desires of hunters. A good hunter is a friend of the environment. I remember the three times I've been fishing I caught one fish. Lazy times.

I never hunted but I tried to make a crude squirrl trap with a box, stick, and acorn but no luck.  I used to LOVE fishing but I don't do it now because I don't like to see the worms or fish get harmed.  Don't get me wrong if it's already dead at the supermarket I'll eat it but I just can't bear the fact of the fish and bait suffering anymore.
