Gendered bathroom signs are "a very old-school, traditional way of doing things," says Scott Vivian, chef of nine-month-old Beast restaurant, where both washrooms are unisex. The only difference between the two is wall art: a Beastie Boys poster in one, an Attack of the 50 Foot Woman poster in the other.
