I've heard this quote a bunch of places but it always seems the most accurate to me:
"Normal is what everyone else is and you aren't".

How does anyone define normalcy? It changes from country to country, group to group, person to person. What's normal to me might be horrible to someone else, and obviously the opposite is true. And yes, it's infuriating for people to say "that's not normal", but the best response is just to ask them "What is?"

I do believe there are minorities and majorities, but nothing is set in stone that defines normal. I think it really comes down to each individuals perception of what normalcy is.
