It's really all about genetics so no one can really tell you when you will. Some guys who go on T never grow decent facial hair. Even some bio guys (or cis guys whichever you prefer) never grow decent facial hair. On average I've noticed that within a year at least half the guys I have seen have a full chin strap. yymv

Side note: I think this belongs in the ftm area. A moderator might move it for you this time around.

Yeah it's hard to say even by looking at family members. In my family hardly any males can grow facial hair. Yet after a year and almost a half on T I almost have a chin strap.

I didn't expect to get any but I already have more than my grandpa, uncles and cousins.

Anyway sounds like you will if you already have a lot of darker hairs.

It will start off with peach fuzz everywhere. As long as you keep shaving or trimming it. Some FTMs get a goatee within their first month whereas others it takes up to 3 years to get anything at all on their face. Although that also depends on how old you are.
The story is the same, I've just personalized the name.

My dad's pretty hairy and I'm currently very hairy for a woman (I tell everyone I have my dad's forearms-- hairy and muscular).  I've been shaving my face for about five years since I was diagnosed with PCOS and since I started accepting that I was trans and became proud of my facial hair.  I don't have much though-- just some decent sideburns, a few cheek hairs and a few little patches on my neck and chin.  And I bought my first thing of aftershave gel yesterday and used it this morning.  I don't think anything's made me feel more manly than aftershave.  I kept sniffing my hands until the scent faded...
In between the lines there's a lot of obscurity.
I'm not inclined to resign to maturity.
If it's alright, then you're all wrong.
Why bounce around to the same damn song?
