Hi,
I'm Kevin. I'm a 20 year old FtM and I live in NSW, Australia. I follow some other online trans communities (mostly Livejournal), but I'm a lurker everywhere. I've been reading this forum for a couple of days and you all seem pretty cool, so I thought I'd make an effort to participate for once. :)
Transition-wise, I'm pre-T pre-op but I've been out as trans and "presenting male" since I was 15. I'm in the middle of a legal name change (application already submitted, waiting for new birth certificate). I was seeing my psychiatrist last year who wanted me to officially live as male for a while aka get a job, before he'd prescribe me testosterone. I've avoided jobs (not to mention any social life) because of suffering from social anxiety disorder, but I'm recovering now and looking for a job / hoping to be able to start testosterone soon. Starting to get very impatient about that.

I suppose I'll share some general getting-to-know-you info too.
I'm a bit of a science-nerd... and general-nerd, really. I'm particularly into astronomy. Although I go through every interest under the sun and have a thirst for knowledge about everything. I have a 2-yr old cat called Lunar. I'm into sci-fi, and if you couldn't tell from my username I'm also a Trekkie.

That's about it. Hopefully I won't become another lurker. ::)

Hi Kevin, :icon_wave:

Welcome to our little family. Over 5900 strong. That would be one heck of a family reunion.

Feel free to post your successes/failures, Hopes/dreams.  Ask questions and seek answers. Give and receive advice.

But remember we are family here, your family now. And it is always nice to have another brother. :icon_hug:

And be sure to check out these links ( MUST READS )

Hugs and Love,
Janet

Hi Kevin

Welcome. I'm in Adelaide. There are quite a few Aussie boys and girls here. But it's a lot of fun to have International friends as well.

But we of course are the coolest  (she waits for flack)
