I've been wondering something. If you go through full surgery and everything, is it possible to fight, as in boxing or ufc style? I'm such a hypochondriac, I had my gallbladder out many years ago and I always worry about that incision splitting open if I take a bad hit. So with really huge incisions where boobs used to be, is it safe to take hits? Training to fight can at least be my preferred method of exersize even if I can't take hits to the chest in the future so I'm not too worried about it. I've just been wondering.

I'm not a medical professional but what I do know about the healing process is that anything that's broken/cut and has healed is invariably stronger than the original bond.
Don't worry at all about your desire to fight! Revel in your ability to kick some XY ass! ;-)

I would personally refrain, of course, from witnessing such a brutal display.... and the proliferation of man cooties that would result.

I think Jessica is right there, I'm not sure if it less likely to split open but it is no more likely to split than before the surgery once it has healed fully.  I do know bones that have been broken can calcify and thus may become stronger in that area after a break but don't know if that applies to incisions too. You should be fine to fight after chest surgery after the incisions are fully healed but bear in mind that many surgeons leave some breast tissue behind to avoid the "popped" look so you will have to still check regularly for lumps, fighting or no fighting  ;)

The majority of boxers or mixed martial artists have had numerous injuries and are patched back together from far worse damage than what's caused by trans-related surgeries. The trauma of incisions or sutures is very low level as far as the body is concerned (compared to organs, muscle, joints, bones, etc.)

So long as you give yourself proper time to heal, it won't matter at all.
