Transgendered decide to donate eyes

As part of their services, the transgendered here, have decided to visit the ailing children in different city hospitals and pray for their recovery.

Moreover, during the celebration, as many as 300 transgendered would be donating their eyes in the first mass eye donation by them.

They have also planned to plant 6,000 saplings in Coimbatore. The tree planting would be inaugurated by district forest officer I Anwardeen at a function to be held at S S Kamalesh Kalyana Mandapam in Thudiyalur on Thursday, said NMCT director A S Sankaranarayanan.
