Some women maintain that I am not a female or a woman and never can be, because:

   1. I was not socialized as a girl under patriarchy
   2. I do not share in the fear and expectations that girls are subjected to growing up
   3. I was programmed with something called 'male privilege' and entitlement
   4. I do not bleed and can not get pregnant

They are I feel, quite right. There is no denying that gulf and lack of shared danger and lived experience. I agonized over all four of those points, before, during, and yes occasionally still after, transition.

The article links to another, which appears to have had a profound effect upon the first. I noticed this:

Bear children for men. Take care of men. Be subservient to men.

Rear children for society to use as the next generation of warriors to defend our glorious leaders, represented by a flag.

A society that told me I could never be as good as men. That I could never be human like men.

A society that told me I could never be as good as anyone. That I was subhuman, worthless, fit only for failure and death.

So women who are amenhorraic, or are infertile are not real women?  Just another example of  white American feminist cultural imperialism.

I was socialized as a boy but had no effect, I am still a girl, I socialized myself, and I was well aware of the injustices' perpetrated against women, etc

2. I do not share in the fear and expectations that girls are subjected to growing up
Oh yes, I do. I received many beatings for been effeminate. Just like any girls I grew up with the anxiety of not being feminine enough
3. I was programmed with something called 'male privilege' and entitlement
Just like item number one, the programming was attempted but it did not take in   
4. I do not bleed and can not get pregnant
Most females only bled during the reproductive ages, does that means that during the other years they are not females?
Not every female can or wants to be pregnant. An in vitro fertilized embryo can be implanted in my peritoneum (cavity in my abdomen), and with the correct hormonal support, I can carry a full term ectopic pregnancy, which can be delivered by C-section


So there you go, not so valid points!
