Hi, I'm Sam and I just wanted to take a moment to introduce myself to the community!  I still need to fill out my profile, but I couldn't wait to go ahead and post.

I've wondered since the age of 13 what it would be like to be a woman, with some occassional crossdressing (once or twice a year).  I seriously began to wonder about my gender identity when I turned 20 and have spent the past three years trying to figure out who and what I am.  Now I'm 23, fully independent, and in a position in life where I can finally freely explore these issues and finally decide what gender I would be happiest as (or whatever in between).  I've always lived life with no regrets, and certainly don't want this to be one as well.

I've lurked on this forum for a couple years, and I'd like to go ahead and say thank you to everyone on this forum for all the wonderful support and advice you've provided to the people who have come before me, and all the advice I'm going to be pestering you all for.

While this is a small step, for me recognizing that I have an issue and finally actively working to address it is very fulfilling and I am extremely grateful that websites/communities such as this one exist.

Glad to see you coming out of the lingerie drawer to talk with us, Samantha. Since you are looking to figure out who/what you are, I suggest that you see a gender counselor.

Your English appears to be American; so I provide this link to the US gender counselors that we know.

Oh, and do come visit us in Chat.
