Hello,
I'm Spencer, a 24 year old guy from New South Wales, Australia.
I've been on hormones for coming up to 6 years, am three years post chest op and approximately three months post hysto.
I enjoy skateboarding, working out, going to University and looking after my 6 year old Son.
This is what I look like:

Nice to meet you all!

Nice to meet you, Spencer.   I'm new here myself.

Thanks for the warm welcome, JohnAlex!
Do you by any chance know how to upload avatars? I've tried to modify my profile to no avail. Perhaps there is a post count limit that "unlocks" this particular feature?

Welcome to the site man  :icon_wave:

15 posts will allow you to do that. Congrats on your recent hysto btw. See you around the forum :)

spenceroar

Ahh, thanks for the clarification!
And thanks for the warm wishes regarding the hysto. This forum is fantastic!

welcome :) sick picture. I am jealous of your facial hair hahah :D
The story is the same, I've just personalized the name.
  •

spenceroar

No need to be jealous, time is all it took!
I wish my cheeks would fill in properly though, when I grow it all out my cheeks look a little patchy.
  •

Da Monkey

Hahah, yeah one of my sides grows in fine but the other side is patchy and still has peach fuzz.
How long did it take to grow most of it?
The story is the same, I've just personalized the name.

Hi Spencer, :icon_wave:

Welcome to our little family. Over 5900 strong. That would be one heck of a family reunion.

Feel free to post your successes/failures, Hopes/dreams.  Ask questions and seek answers. Give and receive advice.

But remember we are family here, your family now. And it is always nice to have another brother. :icon_hug:

And be sure to check out these links ( MUST READS )

@ Jay; things have been moving alot faster since my hysto.
Generally speaking I think I took a while - maybe 3 years on T before I had "decent" enough facial hair to grow out.
Edit: I forgot to mention I still have issues with one side growing in faster than the other. Not too sure if this will ever resolve, however I generally just use a beard trimmer to even it all out.

Janet, thanks so much for all those links; I'd been perusing about and had read a lot of them, they are exceptionally useful.

Da Monkey

Sweet, good to know since I am only 16 months on T with a crappy chin strap hahah. I recently got a trimmer and it is a lot easier.
The story is the same, I've just personalized the name.

Aussie are surely a relaxed bunch of people! I love living in Australia. I agree wholeheartedly about aussie sense of humour, also.
