Hi

I have met a number of women who describe themselves as ladyboys or ->-bleeped-<-s.
Perhaps I have come to the wrong website. but I would like to know where these women
would fit onto the different categories mentioned here- if they would at all.

let me be a bit more clear. these women are very clearly women- in every respect
except they have functioning male sex organs. This is just who they are. they are not
transitioning, but seem to have settled with this identity.

I have heard from many people including "experts" who try to tell me my friends
do not exist. But they are very real. is there a generally accepted term for them?

thanks

crossdressers mostly. ladyboy and ->-bleeped-<- are very discouraged terms here though. that sounds like something only a crossdresser might call themselves.

No they are not. They are totally real women who have functioning men's genitals. They couldn't very well be "crossdressers" with their clothes off, now could they?

it doesn't matter if they have their clothes on or not. crossdresser is a legitimate identity here. it's not possible to answer a question like that for someone else. i can only read the criteria, and match the definition.

Good question. Ladyboys are typically what the press in Thailand calls their young women of altered sex. And ->-bleeped-<-s are often very sexual and border on being prostitutes. As such, it's commonly thought of as a derogatory term on sites such as this one. Whereas here there are quite a few women on hormones who as a result have no sex drive whatsoever, myself included, that we will never fit into the stereotypes that you've mentioned.
:-)  hope that helps some!

I don't mind the term ->-bleeped-<- or ladyboy... it really means the same thing to most people as "trans" does ... the real issue is what people think transsexual / transgender people are like (drag queens or porn actors or perverts). So, when the community gets angry at people using "->-bleeped-<-" and tries to get them to use "trans"... they aren't really doing much...

Oh, and haiii rabbit! :D

Pretty sure you're just describing ->-bleeped-<-s.  Ladyboy and ->-bleeped-<-s are generally considered offensive terms so beware when saying that, but some pre-op transsexual women describe themselves as ladyboy/->-bleeped-<- so it just depends on the person..  Crossdressers just like wearing the opposite sex's clothes and looking like that (like through clothes).  ->-bleeped-<- like being mixed up as the opposite sex.  They're like in-between crossdressing and transsexual.  They do not want to have the surgery or anything, but like wearing the clothes and being thought of as their targeted sex.  Then, of course, transsexuals want to mold into whatever sex they feel they are, including going through the physical part.

"Ladyboys" and "->-bleeped-<-s" are two words used towards trans women that are generally offensive. I understand that some people may self identify that way but that's their word to use for themselves as opposed to the entire community. Don't know if they would fit into the categories here, or where they would fit in. It all depends on personal self identity. If they socialize as women then they have transitioned (at least partially).

If a person is a woman and was assigned male at birth than her genitals are a woman's genitals (just not those typically associated with women).

"Ladyboys" in Thailand generally don't prefer that term. There's a different word that they like more which I can't remember.

Both names are mostly associated with porno and/or prostitution; and are considered pejorative by most transgendered persons. I do not think you will find them here. I suggest you look for them elsewhere.

BTW the penis of ALL ->-bleeped-<-s or ladyboys do not get erected unless they are injected with opiods (OUCH!)

I disagree. Some trans women can maintain erections while on hormones (for the short term at least).

True, but only at the beginning of the transition. However, by the time ->-bleeped-<-s go pro their thing will not work, hence the injection. Several decades ago I had a ->-bleeped-<- star for a neighbor, who told me all about her business. Sad story! My point with my post was to redirect the visitor to sites that may be more appropriate to Zwazo's interest

i'm not sure about "maintain," but i can get one. i'm not sure if it's supposed to completely diminish because i'm on hormones, but i never get it spontaneously, only if i'm aroused. these days i've only been getting them when i want to masturbate, but i don't have the "morning wood" anymore. i never had enough testosterone to be able to get them spontaneously and long lasting.
