yeah, ive just seen ep 9 and it seems to be foing a very good job of documenting the journey from experimentation to desision you need to transition,l has recently started dealing with the sexual and romantic side, i just think it does a rather good job of handling a sensitive subject matter  ;)

I've been following it since I read another thread about it. It's been really enjoyable. Sometimes I like the slower slice of life kind of anime. It would be good if this kind of show got regular air play in the US.

I'm told the manga is better and provides a lot of background that the anime skips over. I'll start reading it soon.

I've seen up to episode 4 and so far, it has been really good although the characters can be a tad bit confusing in the beginning. It is the only anime that I know of which directly deals with transgender.

You can catch the show on CrunchyRoll, its up to episode 8 as we speak, with episode 9 just being broadcasted in Japan a few days ago. I'm hoping to watch the rest of the episodes this week.

I haven't really looked into it yet.

I think I will now. After browsing that website, it reminds me of His and Her Circumstances (one of my favorites).
Waarom mag een jongen nooit prinsesje
Waarom mag een meisje nooit superman zijn
Elke vogel bouwt z'n eigen nestje
Hier bij ons mag iedereen zijn wie ze zijn

Haven't looked into it yet, either, but I was planning to because I watched a lesbian-centric anime (Aoi Hana) which was based on a manga by the same author as Hourou Musuko and was pretty good (if largely plotless).

Thanks for reminding me.  :)
